According to an independent study conducted by economists from Analysis Group, developers on the App Store generated $1.1 trillion in billings and sales in 2022, marking a 29% year-over-year growth. The study highlights that more than 90% of the billings and sales were earned solely by developers and businesses, without any commission paid to Apple.
